Isenor, Morris Kendall “Ken” – 89 of Wallace, passed away on Sunday, May 16, 2021, at home. Ken was born in Oxford, July 15, 1931, the oldest son of Lloyd and Ella (Hatt) Isenor. He was predeceased by his parents, his wife, Dolores “ Dodie” (MacGillivray) and his two sons, Kendall and Leonard. He is survived by his granddaughter, Shelleen and great granddaughters, Kiendra and Isabelle, as well as numerous nieces and nephews in Canada and the United States. Ken served in the RCAF and was posted to Metz in France. His final posting took him to Winnipeg. After retiring from the Air Force Ken accepted a position as Director of Preventive Maintenance at the Griffith iron mine in Red Lake, Ontario. He became a Canadian Registered Safety Professional and joined the Canadian Salt Company where he became head of health and safety for Canada and then head of health and safety for the parent company, Morton Salt. After retiring from Morton he joined Via Rail as director of health and safety for western Canada based in Winnipeg. After retiring for a third time he and Dodie came to Wallace where they spent summers in the family home and escaped to Fort Myers, Florida for the winters. Ken was an avid golfer enjoying both Northumberland Links and a course close to his home in Florida. Ken was active in the Legion. He will be missed by family, friends, neighbours and golfing buddies in Wallace and Fort Myers. Cremation has taken place with arrangement entrusted to Mundle’s Funeral Home, Pugwash. At Ken’s request no visitation or funeral will be held. Internment will take place in Red Lake, Ontario at a later date. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
