It is with great sadness that the families of Thelma Agnes Crocker announce her sudden passing at the Bonne Bay Health Centre, in Norris Pt, NL, on Tuesday, May 18th, 2021 at the age of 66 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her common-law-partner of 43 years; Donald Barnes, her sons; Rodney, Craig (Michelle) and Shannon (Gail), her sisters; Delores (Winston) Crocker, Roxie Upwards, and Maude (Roddie) Barnes, her brother; Selwyn (Bessie) Crocker, her sisters-in-law; Belle Crocker, Janet Crocker, Hussie Crocker, Rosie Gosney, Elsie (Fred) White, Ennett (William) Crocker, Fronie (Ralph) Traverse, Patsy (Charles) Brake, Faye (Gary) Peddle, Verna (Johnny) Barnes, her brothers-in-law; Curtis (Ethel) Barnes, Boyde (Maxine) Barnes, Stanley (Lucy) Barnes, Herman (Darlene) Barnes, Eddie (Carolann) Barnes, Sidney (Glenda) Barnes, Loyal Crocker, Roy (Nancy) Crocker, Russ (Ivy) Crocker, Willis Crocker, Francis (Nola) Crocker, and Jason (Monica) Crocker. Her special friend and homecare worker; Gail (Shawn) Skinner, and their 3 special children Stephanie, Savannah, & Logan who she loved dearly, also a large circle on nieces, nephews, family and friends. Also her other homecare workers; Angela Bennett, and Mabel White.
Thelma was predeceased by her loving husband; Derrick Crocker, parents; William Bussey and Phyllis Crocker, parents-in-law; Elizabeth (Liz) and Victor Crocker, William Augustus and Flossie Rhonda Barnes, daughter-in-law; Angela Crocker, her sister; Violet Jones, brothers; Guy and Abe Crocker, brother-in-laws; Eric Jones, Terry Upwards, Fred Crocker, Robert Goosney, Gordon Barnes, and Ronald Barnes, sister-in-law; Joan Crocker, Sandra Barnes, and niece Patsy Crocker, and nephew; Randy Crocker.
The family wishes to express sincere thanks to the Bonne Bay Health Centre, BNRH Melinda Payne and Dr. Keon Henry Hughes.
The family will be receiving family and friends at Parsons Funeral Home on Thursday, May 20th, 2021, from 2-4 pm, and under the Covid-19 Regulations there can only be 25 people at the viewing at one time and masks and social distancing are required under the regulations.
The private funeral service will take place on Friday, May 21st, 2021 at 2:00 pm, at Parsons funeral home with Tom & Doris Sheppard officiating with the burial to follow at the family plot of the United Church cemetery in Trout River, NL.
We know that our grieving families still need to feel the same level of support from you their family, friends, loved ones and community.
