Obituary of John Kenneth Parke
It is with great sadness that the family of John Kenneth Parke announces his sudden passing at his home in Fort McMurray on May 9, 2021, at the age of 51. John loved his family and friends and he will be deeply missed.
John was born in Huron County on January 2, 1970, and moved to Fort McMurray with his family in 2008. Survived by his loving wife and best friend Susan. Dear father of Amber (Logan), Ashley (Scott), Emma (Connor), Michael (Anica), Amanda (Mike) and Grandpa to seven grandchildren; Zoey, Parker, Ellie, Cohen, Hayden, Damon, and Dallas. Also survived by mother in law Faye Dalrymple, sister Susan (Greg) Holmes. Brother in law to Rick (Barb) Dalrymple, Judy Dalrymple, Donna (Brad) Smith, Marilyn (Rob) Govier, Patty (Dale) Dalrymple, Catherine (Eric) Harrison, Larry (Chris) Dalrymple, Vicki (Kurt) Dalrymple, and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Predeceased by his parents Kenneth & Blanche Parke, father in law Harold Dalrymple, brother in law Leon Sprung.
A visitation will be held on Friday, May 14 from 4 pm-7 pm at Robert Anderson Funeral Home (115-190 MacAlpine Crescent), Fort McMurray.
In lieu of flowers, the family graciously asks for donations to the Wood Buffalo Food Bank.
There is a private Facebook group called “In Memory of John Parke” where memories and photos with John can be shared. There will be a live video posted of the service at 3 pm Alberta time.

  1. John was a great friend had my cows at their property outside of Clinton he was always happy to help out with the chores and feeding to bad a great guy is gone way to so all the best to the family
