Obituary
It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of James “Brett” Stubbert which occurred suddenly at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Wednesday, January 6th, 2021. Born 1958, in North Vancouver, he was the son of the late Peter and Lori Stubbert. Brett worked for Galbraith Construction Ltd. for many years as a Truck Driver. He enjoyed hunting and spending time at his camp in Welsford. He loved everything camo and his jeep was his pride and joy. Brett adored animals, especially his cats Buddy and Jasper who will miss him dearly.
Brett is survived by his loving and devoted common-law spouse Sue Clark of Saint John; son Adam Stubbert of Willow Grove and daughter Tricia Stubbert of Saint John and their mother Patricia Gregory; daughter Amanda Lozier of Saint John; brother Mark Stubbert of Vancouver; sisters Dawn Stubbert Dunn (Tom) of Vancouver and Jennifer Stubbert Parsons (Jordan) of BC; grandchildren Breanna Stubbert, Ryleigh Stubbert, Ethan McShane and Mya McShane; as well as nieces, nephews and many friends. Along with his parents, Brett was predeceased by his brother Scott.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). A Memorial Service will take place in the Fundy Funeral Home chapel on Sunday, January 10th at 10 a.m. for invited guests only. A private family interment will be held at a later date. Due to public health’s pandemic restrictions and to maintain everyone’s safety: masks are mandatory and physical distancing will be respected. Donations in memory of Brett may be made to the SPCA-Animal Rescue or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
