Obituary of Dale Bahm
September 9, 1937 – May 7, 2021
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Dale Bahm on Friday May 7, 2021 at the Pembroke Regional Hospital; Dale Bahm of Arnprior at the age of 84. Beloved husband of 64 years to Glenn (Ross). Dearly loved father of Carl Bahm (Laurie) of Mount St. Patrick, Lynda Bridge (Jamie) of Napanee, Shelley Eades (Phillip) of Castleford, and Ross Bahm of Waba. Much loved Grandpa/Poppy of Aaron, Jolene, Kaitlynn, Rebecca, Jenny, Jesse, Kelsey, Emily, Morgan, Taylor and Great-Grandpa/Old Grampa of Braxtin, Danika, Nathan, Ethan, Blake, Zoey, Quinn, Cayden, Owen, Bently, Emilee, Jack and Lexi. Dear brother of Dalton (Catherine), Helena (Ozzie), Bill (Heather), Brent (Penny), brother-in-law of Norman (late Wendy), Douglas and Laurel (late Dan). He will be missed by many nieces and nephews, cousins and good friends. Predeceased by brothers Daryl (Cathy) and Ralph (late Debbie), infant sister Susan, and sister-in-law Morna (late Levi). Son of the late Alfred and Ellen (Sommerville) Bahm. Dale worked as a Sawyer at Gilles Bros. Lumber Mill from the 1950’s until the 1990’s. He will be remembered for his easy- going personality, his love of the great outdoors, and the diligent way he tended to his hobby farm. The family would like to express sincere appreciation to the staff at Caressant Care Nursing Home in Cobden. Thank you for caring for Dad in such a special way. Dale’s arrangements have been entrusted to the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street North, Arnprior. Private family visitation Wednesday May 12, 2021. Interment Flat Rapids Cemetery, McNab-Braeside. In memorial donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
