Mr. Douglas Daniel ‘Doug’ Moench of Eckville, Alberta, passed away peacefully at his home, on Friday, January 1, 2021 at the age of 71 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Louise of forty-nine years, his daughters, Kandice (Jeremy) of Buck Lake and Krystal (Quintin) of Lethbridge and his six grandchildren, Ashton, Alyssa (Brooke), Zachary, Samantha, Andrew and Trevor. He will also be sadly missed by his sister, Shawna (Tom) Moore, his brother-in-law, Francis Weisenberger, his sisters-in-law, Terri (Gerry) Cunningham, Penny Mottus and Diane Mottus, and family friend, Bob Spittal; as well as his many nieces and nephews. Doug was predeceased by his parents, Art and Martha Moench, a sister, Carol Weisenberger, his in-laws, Art and Betty Mottus and his brothers-in-law, Jack and Tom Mottus. As per Doug’s wishes, there will be no Funeral Service. A Private Interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, if desired, Memorial Donations in Doug’s honor may be made directly to a charity of the donor’s choice. Condolences may be sent or viewed at www.parklandfuneralhome.com.
