It is with sad hearts that we announce the passing of Florence Keeler on Tuesday January 5th, 2021 in her 97th year, she has lived a full rich life. She is now at rest with beloved husband Don who passed away 13 years ago. Florence leaves behind her daughters Pat Tripp (Griff), Linda Kuipers (Bill), and Wendy Capener (Les). Grandmother of Todd Kuipers (Elizabeth), Shawn Tripp (Nicole), Summer Korman (Hailey), Nick Capener and the late Keri Coles. Great grandmother of Ashley Zolneiczyk, Andrew Kuipers, Ella Coles, Graden Tripp, Alex Kuipers, and Nolen Tripp. Great great great grandmother of Gerald Moore. She will also be missed by her granddaughters husband Gene Coles.
Florence worked hard throughout her life and was very much involved in the community. From prize winning entries at the fair to accolades for her wedding cakes she made and decorated, she was a star in the culinary field. Many, many enjoyable years were spent with the Women’s Institute and the United Church Women’s group. The Ruth Clark Senior’s Centre and the Senior Games kept her busy and challenged. In recent years she has knitted for various causes like finger puppets for the lab, hats and booties for the preemies at the hospital and comfort dolls for children in Afghanistan. She was a busy lady. She will be missed. We love you.
Special thanks to the caring staff at Regency Manor whose help and support will not be forgotten.
Due to COVID restrictions a private family service will be held at The Ross Funeral Chapel on Saturday at 11 a.m. which will be webcast and available for viewing live and later on demand at www.rossfuneralchapel.com
