Obituary
It is with great sadness on April 26, 2021 Bruce was called to the spirit world suddenly, he had by his side his love Caroline and friend Sally.
Bruce was a happy person who loved to tease and Joke around with family and friends.
Bruce always enjoyed riding around, playing VLT’s, games on his tablet, hunting, fishing, dancing, and most of all he enjoyed sitting having a coffee and smoke with his sweetheart Caroline.
Bruce spent most days following his traditional ways of life, gathering medicines, sweats, teachings with Caroline, Eddie and Lorne.
Bruce worked various jobs throughout his life. When he moved home to Pine Creek he started working at Minegozibe Anishabe School as a E.A. teaching wood working and Native Language Classes. He was always asked to do opening prayers at the school and Community events. He was well respected by students and staff.
Bruce, Shirley Thompson and fellow peers worked hard on getting a monument up to survivors of residential school. He was very proud, he was able to have this monument standing up.
