Obituary of Beverly J. Ellison
Beverly J. Ellison Age 69 of Horseheads, NY passed away on Tuesday April 27, 2021 at Corning Guthrie Hospital. Beverly was born September 18, 1951 in Buffalo NY the daughter of the late Gordon and Laura Weldon Fetes. She married her husband, James W. Ellison, on November 6, 1971, and they would have celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary this year. Beverly loved painting and was an accomplished artist and a member of The Elmira Regional Arts Council. She was also a member of The Elmira Kennel Club. In addition to her parents, she was pre-deceased by her sister Nancy J. Fetes. Beverly loved her family and friends and treasured the time she spent with them. Beverly is survived by her loving and devoted husband James W. Ellison; sons and daughters-in-laws: Brian and Amanda Ellison of Horseheads, NY and Sean and Andrea Ellison of Potsdam, NY; grandchildren: Amelia, Peighton, Quinn, Michael, Julia, Madeline , and Jonathan; sisters: Joanne Middleton and Jonathan of Denver, CO and Susan Mitchell of Colorado Springs, CO; brother-in-law and sister-in-law: John Ellison of SC and Jane Kissell of Watkins Glen, NY; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of caring friends. A Celebration of Beverly’s Life will be held on Saturday May 1, 2021 at 2 PM at The First Presbyterian Church of Horseheads 2943 Westinghouse Road Horseheads, NY. Rev. Aaron Frank will officiate. Beverly will be laid to rest in Maple Grove Cemetery in Horseheads, NY at the convenience off the family. In lieu of flowers those wishing may remember Beverly through memorial contributions to The Friends of The Horseheads Animal Shelter P.O. Box 288 Horseheads, NY 14845.
