Zinnia Pearl Koren 2020

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Zinnia Pearl Koren announces her sudden passing in her home on Sunday, June 7, 2020 at the age of 65.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Frank; son, Jason (Jess) Stachow; daughter, Celina (Josh) Dean; grandchildren: Jayda, Jasmin and Jezelle Stachow; sister, Rose (Carl) McColl of West Kelowna; and brothers, Edward Koren of Millet and Peter (Terri) Koren of Edmonton.
Born in Myrnam, Alberta on June 23, 1954 to Walter and Anne Koren, Zinnia grew up in Mundare before ultimately settling in St. Albert with the love of her life Frank Stachow. Zinnia was passionate about caring for people. She worked at the University Hospital as a Registered Nurse and she completed her career at the Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute. Her love and zest for life, and her famous hugs and kisses, will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by family and friends.
Due to the current COVID 19 circumstances, the family has chosen to delay her service and Celebration of Life until a later announced date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations can be made to the
Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute c/o University Hospital Foundation, 8440-112 Street NW, Edmonton, AB, T6G 9Z9.
