Zachary Daniel John Zach Pierce 2020

Obituary for
Zachary Daniel John “Zach” Pierce
PIERCE, Zachary Daniel John (Zach) – April 4, 1988 – January 7, 2020
It is with great heartache that we have to say goodbye to our son, brother, and friend Zachary who passed away peacefully in his sleep due to natural causes at the age of 31. Zach is the treasured son of Marlene Pierce (partner Andre) and son of Dan Pierce. Beloved brother to close siblings Devon, Eli, Kendra and Kelsey. Dearest brother in law to Tom, Jason and Karol-Ann, fun uncle to Lilly and Jameson. Zachary was a brother to many, including Shawn Mclaughlin and family, Tyler, Joe, Peter, Tom and so many more. Zach is predeceased by his older sister Hilary and grandparents Don and Edna Ivison and Dan and Pat Pierce. Zach will be fondly remembered by his old crew at Niagara Battery and Tire and his close coworkers at Chucks Roadhouse in Waterloo. Zach touched the lives of many through the years, from high school to the Old Crow days through his loyalty and kind heartedness. He will be deeply missed by all whose lives he touched. Zach lived his life to the fullest by knowing the family wasn’t defined by blood, it was defined by the love.
The family will receive friends at MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main St., on Friday January 17 from 7-9 p.m. and on Saturday January 18 from 10-11a.m. A service to celebrate the life of Zach, will follow at 11 a.m. Cremation has taken place. Those who wish may make a memorial donation to Toronto Sick Kids Hospital.
In the words of a great and loving soul:
