Obituary of Yvonne R. Clarke
Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family at Pte. Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion, Carbonear on Monday, February 24, 2020, Yvonne R. Clarke of Carbonear, age 79 years.
Predeceased by husband: Hayward; son: Jeff; infant daughter: Natalie; parents: Lemuel and Catherine Bickford; brothers: Clyde and Kevin; sister: Pearl.
Leaving to mourn, two daughters: Dawn (Paul), Carbonear and Wanda (Todd), Harbour Grace; daughter-in-law: Joyce, Carbonear; two granddaughters: Courtney (Shane) and Whitney; one great-granddaughter: Reese; step-granddaughter: Keisha (Ricardo); brother: Ray (Marion), Bell Island; four sisters: Jean (Dan) Whelan and Valerie Clarke (Gord), both of Conception Bay South, Stella (Ed) Fahey, Western Bay, and Hazel (Sam, deceased) Hammond, Cambridge, ON; sister-in-law: Freda (Eleazer, deceased) Clarke, Dunville; also a large number of other relatives and friends. A special thank you to the staff at 4 North for their exceptional care.
Visitation at Noel’s Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Thursday, 2:00 to 9:00 p.m., Friday, 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Friday, February 28 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel’s Memorial Chapel, Carbonear. Inurnment in Park Avenue United Cemetery, Carbonear South.
As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the Parkinson Society of NL, 136 Crosbie Road, St. John’s, NL, A1B 3K3 or a charity of one’s choice.
