Entered into rest at the Kingston General Hospital on Wednesday July 22nd, 2020. Yvonne Margaret Smith age 70 years of Ballycanoe. Beloved wife of Peter Riemersma. Dear mother of Connie Adair (Robin) , and Peter Jr. (Janet) all of Brockville, Wendy Spafford (Gord) of Lindsay and Natalie Heffernan (Mike) of Mallorytown. Loving grandmother of Melisa Adair-MacNeil (Dan), Kurt, Konor and Kaleb Riemersma, Hayley and Skylar Spafford and Brittany Heffernan. Sister of Stewart Smith (Sharon) of Escott, Leslie Smith (Joanne) of Brockville, Marie Smith (Larry Stacey) of Lansdowne and Donna Tackaberry of Charleston Lake. Predeceased by her parents, Stewart Smith and the former Lorraine Rocky.
Relatives and friends may pay their respects at the Judson Funeral Home Athens, on Tuesday July 28th from 7-9 p.m.. A Celebration of Yvonne’s life will be held at St. Luke’s Cemetery, Ballycanoe, on Wednesday July 29th at 11 a.m. In memoriam’s to the charity of your choice will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
