1927-2020
SAINT-LOUIS-DE-KENT, NB – Yvonne Daige 92, of
Saint-Louis-de-Kent passed away peacefully at the Villa Maria,
Saint-Louis-de-Kent of Wednesday, April 22, 2020. Born in
St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Prospère
Richard and late Domitilde (Bordage) Richard. Before
retiring, Yvonne was a school teacher, she worked in many rural
schools in Kent County for 42 years. She was a member of the
St. Louis des Français Roman Catholic Church in
Saint-Louis-de-Kent.
Yvonne will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 49
years, Roger Daigle of St. Louis; one daughter, Josée
Daigle Jeffrey) of St. Louis; eight grandchildren, Jacob, Amy James
(Morgana), Mackenzie (John), Kaleigh (Brandon), Raven, Benjamin,
Spencer and three great grandchildren, Colbie, Chloie and
Laena.
She is also survived by four sisters, Clara Chevarie (late
Camille) of St. Louis, Lina Vautour (late Armand) of St. Louis, Bertha
Aucoin (Jean-Paul) of Dieppe, Rosa Daigle (Dolor) of St. Louis; three
brothers, Émile Richard (late Elva), Jean-Baptiste Richard
(late Maria), Émerie Richard (Annette) all of St. Louis;
two sisters-in-law, Florida Richard of Cocagne, Rita Richard of St.
Louis and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by four brothers,
Armand, Fernand, Edmond and infant
Aurèle.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home. A
Funeral Mass and celebration of life will be announced at a later
date.
The family wish to thank Dr. John McCleave, Dr. Josette
Vautour as well as the nurses and staff workers, nurses assistants at
the Villa Providence in Shediac and at the Villa Maria in
Saint-Louis-de-Kent.
