Yvon Joseph Comeau
1933-2020
RICHIBUCTO,
NB – Yvon Comeau 86, formerly of Blacks Harbour, passed away
peacefully at the Stella Maris Hospital in Ste-Anne-de-Kent on
Wednesday, February 26, 2020. Born in Kent Junction, he was
the son of the late Felix Comeau and late Suzanne (Chevarie)
Comeau. He found the love of his life
in St. Charles, NB. Married and moved to Blacks
Harbour, NB in the 1960’s to work and raise his family for
more than 45 years. He dedicated his life working
in the fishmeal for Connors Bros. to support his
family. He loved his family and
friends and so much enjoyed all the special
gatherings. He opened his heart and home
to anyone that needed a helping hand.
Just a
pure genuine loving soul that made him the special man he
was.
Yvon was in
the Knights of Columbus in Blacks Harbour which he was truly proud to
join. Yvon truly loved his wife, never to let her
down. His children to him he claimed
were his angels and of course we chuckled and he was a proud
grandfather that were his pride and joy.
He will
be deeply missed by all as he had a beautiful
soul. His wings were ready, but our
hearts were not. Love you more than words can
say. Till we meet again, love you
forever.
Yvon will be
sadly missed by his loving wife of 51 years, Madeline (Johnson) Comeau
of Richibucto; two daughters, Delia Proulx (Joe) of Blacks Harbour,
Joanne Comeau (Gerry) of Aldouane; one son, Gerald Surette of Moncton;
five grandchildren, Jessica, Tara, David, Marc, Lana and seven great
grandchildren.
He is also
survived by two sisters, Lorraine Chevarie (Albert), Doris Comeau both
of Richibucto; two brothers, Clement Comeau (Gaetanne) of St. Anne de
Madawaska, Norbert Comeau (late Marie) of Aldouane; sisters-in-law,
Irene Comeau of Saint John, Florine Comeau of Gardner, MASS, Geralda
Comeau of Rexton; brothers-in-law, Alcide LeBlanc of Leominster, MASS,
Emile Richard of Aldouane, Calvin O’Donnell of Doaktown and
many nieces and nephews.
Besides his
parents, he was predeceased by one infant son, Joseph; four sisters,

and Lionel.
