It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our son
Wyatt Jeffrey Davies, born July 25, 2003 in Kentville, NS. Wyatt was a
student of Port Williams Elementary, Evangeline Middle School and was
currently attending Horton High School as a grade 12 student.
Wyatt’s interests were not limited to a single activity. He
was an avid F1 fan and he loved anything with a motor, his favourite
being tractors, especially his new John Deere granted by
Children’s Wish Foundation. Wyatt participated in a number
of sports. He played hockey, soccer and loved skiing and cycling. He
had an eclectic taste in music which spanned all genres and his most
recent hobby was astronomy. He was gifted his own star by close
friends. Wyatt was a kind, easy going young man with a strength and
courage that became more evident in the last year. His signature
“thumbs up” pose appeared in all of his pictures no matter
where he was and what he was doing. He was employed at Black Dogs
Vineyard and he quickly developed a passion for caring for the vines.
He aspired to own his own vineyard. He is survived by his parents,
Jeff Davies (Lora) and Shelley Parsons (Kim Rhymes); stepsister
Jacqueline and stepbrother Stephen; maternal grandparents, Calvin and
Margaret Parsons; paternal grandfather, Chester Nieforth; and many
aunts, uncles and cousins. A special mention to his girlfriend, Peyton
Lickers for her love and support throughout the last year. Donations
in memory to the Hematology/Oncology Family Fund at the IWK or the
Children’s Wish Foundation. There will be an open house
October 10th, 2020 from 2-6 p.m. at 406 White Rock Road, Canaan.
