Passed peacefully away at Lakeside Homes, Gander on Monday October 19th, 2020, Winnifred Parsons at the age of 99 years. She was predeceased by her husband Sandy; 2 sons: Harry, Leo; parents Charles & Jane Bursey and 6 brothers. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughters Ivy, Doreen; daughter-in-law Iona; 15 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren; 19 great great grandchildren and also a large circle of other relatives and friends. In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place on Thursday October 22, 2020 between the hours of 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Due to the Covoid-19 restrictions we ask for your patience during visitation times. Funeral service will take place on Saturday October 24th, 2020 from the Salvation Army Church, Gander at 2:00 p.m. with interment to follow at the United Church Cemetery, Glenwood. Due to Covid-19 funeral service will remain to INVITATION ONLY. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations in Winnifred’s memory may be made to the Gander & Area S.P.C.A or the Hartery Family.
