Obituary for
Wilma Anderson
Wilma Anderson, a quiet, mild, kind person, passed away suddenly on Wednesday,
November 18, 2020, at the Lasalle Residence retirement home in Timmins, Ontario. She was 88
years old, born on May 28, 1932. She remained single all her life. She is survived by her brother
Albert Zeemel and her sister Helen Dawn. She was predeceased by her parents, and her brothers
Arnold & Johnny. Wilma worked at the former South Porcupine hospital, as well as the Timmins & District
hospital, in the cleaning department. She also worked at the Golden Mile Restaurant as a short order
cook. Wilma was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on July 2, 1960. Up until she passed
away, she read and studied her Bible, attended Christian meetings twice a week and shared in the
witnessing activity of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2020, at 4:00 p.m., using
ZOOM. If anyone would like to attend, please request an invitation by sending an email to
