Obituary of William Rebryna
It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Bill Rebryna on Dec.29, 2019. He leaves to mourn his loving wife Debbie Appleyard; brother Leon (Marilyn) Rebryna; nieces Diane Rebryna (Anast Demitt), Stephanie (Dave) Wood, Nephews Brian Rebryna, Dale (Rene) Rebryna and families; sister in-law Fae (Gerry) Lyngstad; brothers in-law Ron (Janice) Appleyard, Jim (Josephine) Appleyard, Barrie Appleyard and families. Bill was predeceased by his parents; his sister Sephania; brothers Michael and Joseph Rebryna; nephew Dean Rebryna.
Bill was born on the family farm near Hafford, Sk. He was with the RCMP, and the Bank of Montreal before making his permanent career at SaskPower, which he spent 37 years working at various locations around the province. He got his BAC and STRADIS Methodology of Information systems at the U.of S. He was affiliated with the Canadian Institute of Mgmt. and the Assoc. of Professional Managers receiving his CIM & P.Mgr designation. His highlight of retirement was his love of teaching Driver Education in Moose Jaw, Regina, Southey and Lumsden areas. Bill was also active in volunteering with the Kinsmen Clubs, K40’s, Scott Tournament of Hearts, 1995 and 2003 Grey cups, Agribition and the Memorial Cup. Bill’s wish is for a private memorial to be held at a later date and no service to be held.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kinsmen Telemiracle, 2217C Hanselman Court, Saskatoon S7L 6A8 or a charity of your choice.
