Obituary of William Eugene Brace
Passed peacefully away at his residence in Bishop’s Falls on May 21, 2020, William Eugene Brace, at the age of 87 years. Mr. Brace retired from working as an automotive mechanic and was a member of the Pentecostal Church, Bishop’s Falls. He was predeceased by his parents Ebenezer and Agnes Brace; brothers: Ted, Ewart, Harold, Alfred and Ebenezer; sisters: Doris Pretty, Pearl LaPorte, Ruby Campbell and Phyllis; son-in-law, Lloyd Hemeon; daughter-in-law, Debbie. He leaves to mourn his loving wife of 64 years, Phyllis; sons: William (Linda Smith), Robert (Corrina), Raymond (Joanne), Kevin (Louise); daughters: Diane (Barry) Foss and Isabel Hemeon.
He also leaves his 18 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren; sisters: Isabel Haines, Jane McMilliam (living in Vancouver, BC); sisters-in-law: Bernice Brace, Michaeline (Brendan), Mercedes, Jaqueline; brothers-in-law: Arthur (Linda), Gene and Wellington (Denise) and a large circle of other nephews, nieces and friends.
Pastor Gregory Patey will conduct a private family Chapel Service at Hoskins Funeral Home, Bishop’s Falls, with interment at the Pentecostal Cemetery on Sunset Drive.
Pallbearers will be Robert Brace, Kevin Brace, Raymond Brace Sr., Christopher Hemeon, Raymond Brace Jr. and Mark Brace.
Special thank you to the workers who helped so much to take care of Bill during his illness. We really appreciate all your help and kindness.
