William “Willie” A. Sutton
1955 – 2020
William “Willie” Arthur Sutton, husband of Naomi (LaPlante) Sutton of Miramichi passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at the age of 65.
Born in Chatham, on June 25, 1955 he was the son of the late Arthur and Doreen (Doyle) Sutton. He worked for NB Power as a Meter Reader for many years. He was a member of St. Michael’s Basilica.
He is survived by his wife Naomi (LaPlante) Sutton; two sons: Michael Sutton (Julie Taylor) and Timmy Sutton (Aurora O’Shea) all of Miramichi; grandchildren: Aurora, Avery and Emmett; four sisters: Peggy Moar (James), Gerry Leet, Teresa McIntyre (Marty) and Eileen Young (Richard) all of Miramichi; one brother, George Sutton (Dorothy) of Saint John; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was predeceased by his parents.
As per William’s “Willie’s” request there will be no visitation. A PUBLIC Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Michael’s Basilica on Friday, October 30, 2020 at 11 am with Father John Keoughan as Celebrant. A PRIVATE interment will be held in St. Michael’s Cemetery.
Please Note: Due to COVID-19 regulations, continuous wearing of community facemasks and physical distancing are mandatory both indoors and outdoors.
