Obituary
Some say you can take the farmer off the farm but you can’t take the farm out of the farmer.
Our dad was testament to that. In 2009 mom & dad had to leave the farm due to dad’s failing health.
Dad spent endless hours driving up and down country roads checking out baby calves and crops even though he enjoyed his new home he longed to be on the farm.
Last Friday, August 28th dad felt the need to move to greener pastures to a life free of pain.
2020 has been a crazy time. Our parents celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in February then covid-19 appeared and our world has been turned upside down. We all learned what we thought mattered doesn’t and what we were all too busy for does. FAMILY
My mom lost her husband of 60 years and we lost our friend, our confidant, our father.
Our children lost their grandfather and their children lost their great grandfather & Gaga.
