It is with broken hearts that the
family of the late WILLIAM JOSEPH LOCKYER
of Lawn announces his passing. William passed away at the U.S.
Memorial Health Center in St. Lawrence on May
22nd, 2020 at the age of 75. Leaving
to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are his wife Rose of 57
years; son, Toby Lockyer (Ellen) of Lawn; daughters, Colleen Kearney
(Eugene) of Lawn, Jill Strang (Randy) of Lawn, Bertha Lockyer of Lawn,
Vanessa Lockyer of Lawn, and Lindsey Tarrant (Ryan) of Lawn; 12
grandchildren, Alan, Shane, Tristan, Rosanne, Heidi, Lucas, Mallory,
Jenna, Fallon, Toby, Hunter, and Ryder; 13 great-grandchildren,
Peyton, Ava, Kylie, Paizley, Chase, Mila, Cohen, Jaxon, Hope, Parker,
Briar, William, and Carson; brothers, Martin Lockyer (Betty) of St.
John’s, and Patrick Lockyer (Irene) of Ontario; sister, Cela
Loder of St. Lawrence; plus a large circle of extended
family and friends. William was predeceased by his parents,
William and Rebecca Lockyer; parents-in-law, David and Elizabeth
Drake; sisters, Kathleen Roul-Drake, Elizabeth Pittman, Madonna
Morrissey, Celeste Wilkins, Loretta Smith, and Ellen (Nellie)
Slaney.
Cremation to
take place.
Due to the
current Public Health Advisory of COVID-19 a funeral mass and burial
will take place at a later
time.
