William Bill Grant Monck 19402020

William “Bill” Grant Monck
1940-2020
It is with great
sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Bill at University
Hospital on December 19, 2020. He is survived by his loving wife
Beverley Anne. Loving father of Grant (Bob), Wendy (Peter) and Diane
(Paul). Dear brother of Herbert George, Berndena (Don), Christine,
Alex (Judy), John (Lynda), Pauline (Rob), Lawrence and brother in-law
to Jenny Monck and Patti Windrim. Cherished grandfather of Brian
(Micheline), Erin, Michelle, Bradley (Jodie). Bill treasured his
great-grandchildren, Colten, Jace, Jordan, Aiden, Mickaela and
Victoria (2007).
Bill was born
in Victoria Hospital and worked in the maintenance department for many
years before he retired. He had a love for baseball, golfing, fishing,
bowling, Sunday mystery tours, Elvis music, John Wayne movies and most
of all spending time with his family. Bill will be greatly missed for
his infectious laughter, carefree nature, funny jokes, the Bill Monck
tours and calling Bingo on Christmas Eve.
As per Bill’s
wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family memorial will
be held at a later date. Those who wish to make a memorial donation in
memory of Bill are asked to consider Leukemia Hematology Research at London Regional Cancer
Program (LRCP) – Donations go through London Health Sciences
Foundation www.lhsf.ca (519)
685-8409 or charity of choice.
A tree will be planted by the staff of the Evans Funeral Home, as a
living memorial to Mr. Monck.
