William “Bill” Burtt
1951-2020
The death of William “Bill” Herbert Burtt of Centreville
occurred after a brief illness at the Upper River Valley Hospital,
Waterville. Bill was born December 7, 1951 in Bath and was the son of
the late Austin and Bina (Boone) Burtt. He was also predeceased by 2
half sisters, Maxine London and Jackie Tibbets.
Bill loved his family dearly and was known for his quick wit. Bill’s
passion was being a member of the Florenceville Kinsmen and all that
entailed. He was a Life Member having served for 43 years. Upon
retiring in 2007 from Thomas Equipment he was able to spend his time
with family and friends.
Bill is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Claudeen; 1
daughter, Kim Foster (Jody) and his beloved grandchildren, Colby and
Hayley Foster; 1 brother, Reuben Burtt (Linda); 1 sister, Sandra
Hudson (Ellis) as well as nieces, nephews and extended family.
Due to the current Covid – 19 regulations a private visitation and
funeral service will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207
Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol. The interment will be in the
Royalton Community Cemetery. For those who wish donations made to the
Florenceville Kin Club Christmas Miracle would be appreciated.
