Kaiser, Willard Esling Age 78 of
Port Bickerton, passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2020 in High-Crest
Sherbrooke Home for Special Care. Born in Port Bickerton, he was a son
of the late Maurice and Jean (Horton) Kaiser. Willard fished on the
Bickerton Pride, drove truck for Colin R. MacDonald Construction for
23 years, worked at Department of Transportation(#3557) for 23 years.
He liked to hunt and fish, enjoyed visiting and having coffee with his
friends. He is survived by his wife, Oneida (Corkum); daughters,
Melodie (Robie) MacLennan, Glenelg; Paulette (Ward) Boutilier, Port
Bickerton; Corinna MacDonald, Elgin; sons, Lowell (Dee), Port
Bickerton; Randy (Diana), Truro; 11 grandchildren; 3
great-grandchildren; brothers, Barry (Brenda), Havelock (Marlene), all
of Cole Harbour; several nieces, nephews and their families. Willard
was predeceased by son, James in infancy; sister, Sylvia Kaiser;
brother, Douglas. A funeral service for family members will be held
Monday in G.W. Giffin Funeral Home, St. Mary’s Chapel, with
Rev. Wayne Bray officiating. Interment to follow in St.
Paul’s Anglican Cemetery, Port Bickerton. Memorial donations
may be made to High-Crest Sherbrooke Home for Special Care. Funeral
arrangements are under the dignified and compassionate care of G.W.
