Obituary of Wilhelmus van Oosten
van OOSTEN, Wilhelmus – Peacefully passed away on Thursday, January 2nd, 2020 at his residence at the age of 91. Beloved husband of Clazina for 67 years. Cherished father of Mary (Craig), Hubert (Bernadette), Jane, Adriana, Bill (Sharon), Patti, Jim (Cathy) and Andrew (Debbie). Loving Opa of 17 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Wilhelmus is survived by his 4 sisters in the Netherlands. He is predeceased by his 4 brothers. A sincere thank you to Wilhelmus’ PSW Buena Garnace. , for all of her care and compassion. The family will recieve visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Monday, January 6th from 2-4p.m. & 6-8p.m. Vigil Prayers will take place on Monday at 3p.m. in the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Alfred’s Church, 272 Vine Street, St. Catharines on Tuesday, January 7th. Cremation to follow. Memorial donations to the Warehouse of Hope or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
