Wendell Beryle Smith

The family of Wendell Beryle Smith were comforted to know
that he fell asleep in Christ on Sunday, December 13, 2020 with his
wife of 58 years, Marie (Corkum) and family by his side. Born on
December 23, 1939, he was the son of the last Edward and Ruth (Briggs)
Smith.
In addition to his wife, Wendell is survived by his sons Joey
(Stephanie) from Burton, NB and Christopher (Shannon) of Orangeville,
ON; grandchildren Jared, Jory (Beth), Joel (Mileena), Jezzika (Cody),
Brandon, and Brittany; great grandchildren Reanna, Hudson, Riley,
Kali, Chip, and Braxton; brothers Russell (Pat), Craig (Victoria), and
Michael (Corie); sisters Sabra Lafrance, Carol Jean Burtt (Gordon),
Sharon Gallup, Gail Hart (Bob); brother-in-law Cecil Miner; and
sisters-in-law Barb Smith, and Barb Briggs.
As well as his parents, Wendell was predeceased by his
brothers Reid, Farrell, and Dwight; sisters Sadie Miner and Bird
Palmer; and brothers-in-law Eldon Lafrance, Norris Palmer, and Bob
Gallup.
At Wendell’s request, there will be no visitation
or funeral service at this time. Donations to Hospice House in
Fredericton will be greatly appreciated by the
family.
