It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of the late Meryll Wells of Pond Cove at Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony on Sunday May 3, 2020 at the age of 55. Meryll was such a special person, she touched the hearts of so many in her short 55 years on this earth. She will be forever loved and missed by all who had the pleasure of having her in their lives. Meryll’s family would like to say Thank You to the staff at Curtis Memorial Hospital, the nursing’s staff went above & beyond their duties to make Meryll comfortable in her last days. We are truly grateful for your compassion for our daughter/ sister it will never be forgotten. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her parents Morgan & Cecilia Wells; Sister’s Evelyn (Jim) Dempster and Gail (Todd) Coombs; Nieces & Nephew Janice (Chad) Hughes, Jimmy (Colleena) Dempster, Morgan & Megan Coombs; Great Niece and Nephew’s Julie, Jordan & Ace Dempster; Special Parent’s Wavey & Ted Andrews; Special Sister Beverly; Care Workers, Monica and Marlene and a large number of Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Took place on Monday, May 5, 2020 at 2:30 pm with Deacon Vernon Short officiating. Interment followed. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre’s Funeral Home, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard, Funeral Director.
