Obituary of Wayne “Shep” Robert Hirtle
Hirtle, Wayne Robert “Shep” – It is with great sorrow that we, the family, announce the passing of Wayne “Shep” Hirtle, age 70 of Bridgewater on May 29, 2020 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born July 11, 1949, he was a son of the late Robert and M. Alice (Mailman) Hirtle. He is survived by his wife, Louise Campbell-Hirtle; sons, Shane Hirtle (Susan Labelle); Shaun Hirtle (Felicia Whynot); Tyler Hirtle (Stephanie Misner-Hirtle) and Jeremy (Charmaine Hachey) Hirtle; grandchildren, Emilia and Zayden Hirtle; sisters, Laverne (Clarence) Slauenwhite; Darlene (Peter) Mckean; brother, Curtis (Donna Langille) Hirtle; half-sister, Mary Beck; sisters-in-law, Cindy (Maurice) Coady; Marg Campbell (Bill Gow); brothers-in-law, Ronnie Campbell and David Campbell (Cathy Holden); many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Shep was predeceased by half-sister, Irene Feener; sister-in-law, Rose Campbell; brothers-in-law, Murray Beck and Roderick Feener.
A Service in Remembrance of Shep, will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia or the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
