It is with great sadness, the family of Wayne Kieley, announce his sudden passing on Tuesday, September 22, 2020. Predeceased by his parents John and Joan (nee Mason) and close friend Sherry Evans.
Left with fond and loving memories are Wayne’s sisters; Debbie Mootrey (Selwyn Normore), Regina Kieley (Russ Burke), and Lisa Kieley (Sean Hemeon); brothers Gary (Violet), Keith (Cathy), and Tony (April), many nieces and nephews and a large circle of relatives and friends. Wayne will be sadly missed by his loving and close companion Eileen Snow with whom he spent the last number of years.
Wayne was a quiet, fun-loving and carefree man, who had a big generous heart. Despite his personal challenges in life, Wayne was motivated to never give up. His determination and endurance was an inspiration to all that knew him. His love for life was evident in his contagious smile. He valued his 29 year career with the provincial government. He will be surely missed by all who knew him. Special thank you to Dr. Percy Crocker for all his care and attention. Cremation has taken place. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Monday, September 28 from 2 p.m. – 6 p.m. A Funeral Mass will take place at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 from St. Kevin’s Church, Goulds. Those who wish to attend the Funeral Mass must register with the family by calling or texting Debbie at 728-3587. Inurnment to follow at St. Kevin’s Cemetery, Goulds. In honour of Wayne, donations in his name can be made to a charity of one’s choice.
