Obituary of Wayne Kimmerly Clement
Wayne passed away peacefully at the Sturgeon Community Hospital in St. Albert, Alberta on Wednesday, June 24, 2020, at the age of 78. Predeceased by his parents Kenneth and Geraldine Clement and wife Joy Stewartson. Dear brother of Carol Harvey (Keith Chapman) and Linda Smith (Eric) and brother-in-law of Albert Harvey. Loving father of Ken, Kirk (Michelle), Rhea Coughlan (Steve), Tracey Beier, Shelley Beier, Kevin (Angie) and Carmel Baird (Dave). Sadly missed by his 16 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Wayne was born and raised in Napanee, Ontario. At age 26, he ventured to Vancouver Island to start a career in the construction industry, in which he prospered. He later settled in Alberta until his retirement in Edmonton. Wayne was full of life and always willing to try something new. He especially enjoyed his time with family and cherished each and every moment with them.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. For those desiring, memorial donations to Newburgh United Church or a charity of choice will be remembered with appreciation by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the Paul G.
