Wayne Charles James
Wayne C. James, 72, of Moncton,
passed away suddenly at The Moncton Hospital on Tuesday, December 22,
2020.
Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, he
was the son of the late Howard and Phyllis (Mitchell)
Oliver.
Wayne was a very dedicated and
proud member of Alcoholics Anonymous where he celebrated his 40 year
Anniversary and was a faithful and dedicated member of Hillside
Baptist Church, having served his church in various capacities over
the years. He was a very loving and caring man who took the time to
help people his whole life, quietly unaware that he was having a
positive impact on all those that he helped. Wayne had a strong love
for serving his community including over 14 years as a Volunteer with
Harvest House. He will be missed by all that he had touched and
connected with.
Wayne will be sadly missed by
his loving wife of 51 years, Linda (Everett) James; daughter, Leslie
James (Chris Pasley) of Moncton; brother, Terry James (Wendy) and
sister, Maxine Keating; special niece and nephews, Amanda Garland, Ian
and Graham James, as well as many extended family
members.
In addition to his parents, he
was predeceased by his nephew, Philip
Keating.
Visitation at Fergusons Funeral
Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Monday from 1:30
– 4:30 pm. COVID-19 restrictions must be followed and the
wearing of a mask is mandatory. A private family service will be held
in the Funeral Home Chapel.
