Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Wayne Strilesky on September 8, 2020 in Parksville, BC.
Wayne is survived by his loving wife Natalka of 47 years, his beloved daughter Trina (Eric) Limoges and treasured grandchildren; Ceili, Olivia and Emmett. He will be forever remembered by his siblings Diane (Dale), Gary (Terezia), Wendy (Jack), and Linda (Tom) and his many brother and sister-in laws, nieces, nephews and the many friends he had made throughout the years. He was predeceased by his mother Jean and father Steve.
Wayne spent most of his career with Honeywell Controls working as a Control System Designer in Edmonton, AB until his retirement. He moved to Parkville at that time to be closer to his daughter and grandchildren. He enjoyed his retirement by keeping active with many activities such as; curling, slo pitch, golf, volleyball, pickleball, and hiking with his dog Penny. You could always find him biking around Parksville in a yellow helmet. Wayne enjoyed life to the fullest; always with a smile, laugh and a welcoming wave.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. We would like to thank all the staff and doctors who assisted during his final days.
“No matter where we are, your spirit will be beside us.”
