DAVENPORT, Wayne Alexander
Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by the love of his family on Wednesday, January 1, 2020. Wayne Davenport was the loved and loving husband of Lynda. He was the loving father of Blair and his wife Katherine and Drew and his wife Shawtelle. Wayne was the proud and loving Papa of Malachi, Lochlan and Jax. He is survived by his brother Doug and sister-in-law Diane and by sister-in-law Doreen (late brother Barry). Special brother-in-law to Louanne (Tom), Janice (Danny) and Gary (Jackie). Wayne will be missed by his cousins Deb and Jack and many others as well as his nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to celebrate Wayne’s life at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph, on Friday, January 3, 2020 from 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at 1:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, to the Waterloo-Wellington CMHA Building Fund, to the Ronald McDonald House, Hamilton, or to a charity of one’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
