Obituary of Ward Beek
BEEK, WALTER WARD
The passing of Walter Ward Beek of Taxis River, NB, husband of Francis (Armitage) Beek, occurred on January 20, 2020 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital in Fredericton. Born on May 12, 1936 in Doaktown, NB, he was the son of the late Walter and Eunice(Ward) Beek. Ward worked as an Oil Burner Technician.
In addition to his wife, Ward is survived by his daughters, Marlyn Beek (Albert) of Winnipeg, MB, Sheryl Ann Fowler (John) of Fredericton Jct, NB; sons, David Beek (Diane) of Tamworth, ON, John Beek (Susan) of Scotland, Duane Beek (Valerie) of England; daughter-in-law, Vanessa Beek; sister, Catherine Curtis of Fredericton; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Ward was predeceased by a son, Shane Beek; sister Patience O’Neil; brothers, Elroy Beek and Walter Beek.
A Celebration of Ward’s Life will take place at Gateway of Hope Church, Boiestown, NB later in the spring. Interment will take place in Parker’s Ridge Cemetery at that time. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Parkers Ridge Cemetery or a charity of the donor’s choice. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
