Wanda Jeanne 2020

Wanda Jeanne Hall of Warwick passed away peacefully at Chartwell Long Term Care in Parkhill on Friday, April 10, 2020, in her 100th year.
Jeanne is predeceased by her husband James (Jimmy) Hall (1980).
Together Jeanne and Jimmy raised their family of Nancy (Ken) Poulton and Mason (Lynn) Hall. Jeanne loved seeing her grandchildren, Melissa (Bobby) Bourne, Mark (Gabrielle) Poulton, Jennifer (Rick) Frost, and great-grandchildren Bertie, Edwin, Colin and Cate. Jeanne is predeceased by her siblings Mac Tanton, and Ilene MacKinlay.
Jeanne spent many years on the family farm, crafting, quilting and cooking. She enjoyed putting on special Sunday evening meals, (even at the age of 98), making roast beef, gravy, and all the fixings including cake or dessert. Jeanne loved chocolate bars, when a visit was in order it was always best to bring along 1 or 2 to make the event all the more enjoyable (mint chocolate to make things extra special). Jeanne enjoyed her solitude, she found contentment in the quiet moments, reading books and placed a priority in prayer.
Jeanne’s family would like to thank the staff at Chartwell Long Term Care for the care and dedication they gave. It made Jeanne’s stay much more enjoyable to be in the presence of kind, caring individuals.
Arrangements are entrusted to Gilpin Funeral Chapel, 123 King Street East in Forest. 519-786-4964 At Jeanne’s request no public service will be held. Burial will take place at Bethel Cemetery in Warwick. Donations are appreciated to Chartwell Parkhill or a Charity of your choice.
