Obituary for
Walter Ewanciw
On March 14, 2020, God received another cowboy, Walter Ewanciw of Smoky Lake, AB, passed away at the age of 89 years.
Walter is survived by his loving wife, Shirley; one daughter, Wendy of Edmonton, AB; sisters, Cassie of Vancouver, BC and Olga of Edmonton, AB; brother, William of Smoky Lake, AB; step-children, Tim of Victoria, BC, Tammy of Rimbey, AB, Tracy of Victoria, BC, Tina of Airdrie, AB and Tabotha of Millet, AB; eight grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents, Michael and Theodosia; six brothers and six sisters.
Family and friends may pay their respects Friday, March 20 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Park Memorial Funeral Home, 311 White Earth Street, Smoky Lake, AB.
Private Funeral Service Saturday, March 21 at 10:30 a.m. at the Smoky Lake Curling Club,
45 White Earth Street, Smoky Lake. Archimandrite Gerasim Power officiating with interment in North Kotzman Cemetery. In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to the Smoky Lake Healthcare Ladies Auxiliary, P.O. Box 768, Smoky Lake, AB T0A 3C0.
