Obituary for Walter Edward Martin Scott
We sadly announce the passing of Wally, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend to everyone.
Wally was born and raised in the Pigeon Lake area. He moved to Dunvegan in 1989, where he ran a successful business with his family. Wally loved to visit, play crib, horseshoes, and spend time with family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Wally is survived by his wife Leila. His sisters, Gwen, Miriam, Gloria (Leroy), and brother, Delbert (Debbie). Wally’s son John (Barb), with grandchildren John (Heather), Carleen, great grandchild Kieran. Son Ricky (Krista) with grand children Chris (Alicia), Travis (Melissa), great grandchildren, Dade, Madelyn, Liam, Jaron, and Elayna. His daughter Lori (Darren), with grandchildren Savannah Leigh (Sivo), Stephanie (Jaden), Shaelynn (Seth), and great grandchild, Ember. Wally is pre-deceased by his parents Hazel and Walter, stepdad John Pasula, first wife Vanda, and daughter-in-law April.
A Funeral Service for Wally will take place at 1pm on August 7, 2020 at the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Fairview. Due to COVID-19 Restrictions, the service will be invite-only. The service will be live streamed for those who wish to watch the service. Please check back for a link to follow.
