1954-2020
Walter Francis Constantine, 66, of
Monteagle, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday, November 2,
2020. Born in Moncton, he was the son of Doris Constantine (nee
Caissie) and the late Paul Constantine.
Walter was a retired heavy equipment
operator. He enjoyed the outdoors, his ATV, fishing, and washer toss.
He was a lifetime enthusiast of NASCAR and the entire sport, and was a
former race car driver.
In addition to his mother, Doris, Walter
is survived and sadly missed by his sons, Brody (Jodie) Constantine of
Moncton, Lucas (Megan) Constantine of Calgary, Lonny (Natalie) Lutes;
grandchildren, Greyson, Jesse, and Cassidy; mother of his children,
Debbie Sebastien; sister, Diane Steeves (Denis) of Harewood; brothers,
Edwin (Linda) of Salisbury, Ray (Pauline) of Cookstown, ON, Brian
(Kathy) of Monteagle, and Eugene (Rose) of Salisbury; many nieces and
nephews.
Besides his father, he was predeceased
by his brother, Norman; brother-in-law, Terry Steeves; and niece,
Tracey Steeves.
Resting at Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350
Route 106 (372-4800) from where visiting will take place on Friday,
November 6, from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 pm and from where
a private family service will be held with Fr. Phil Mulligan
officiating. Due to Covid-19, masks are mandatory, social distancing
will be respected and capacity may be limited. Interment at Our Lady
of Mercy Cemetery, Leaman Hill.
If desired, memorials to a charity of
your choice would be appreciated.
