Wade Theodore Meister 1945 2020

Obituary of Wade Theodore Meister
Wade Theodore Meister, 75 of New Ross passed away peacefully on November 2, 2020 at the Valley Regional Hospital in Kentville. Born in New Germany on February 26, 1945, he was the son of the late Charles and Greta (Walker) Meister.
Wade was proud resident of New Ross much of his life. He trained as a mason and spent time in Saskatoon working in the 1960s. After moving back to NS, he began working for himself and his brick and stone work can be seen all around southwest NS. Like his father, he also got into the Christmas tree business and worked in each industry seasonally before retiring several years ago.
Wade was a life-long fan of the Detroit Red Wings, hockey and sports in general, with a love of NASCAR coming in his later years. He also liked animals, especially his dogs.
Wade is survived by his sons Bryce (Pamela), Winnipeg, MB and Jason, Jasper, AB; sister Sharon (Steven) Kashuba and niece Nicole, Edmonton; granddaughter Julia (Damien) Brodal, and great-grandchildren Makenna and Joseph, Winnipeg.
Cremation has taken place and a service will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home New Ross Funeral Chapel, 4935 Hwy #12, New Ross, B0J 2M0 (902-689-2961).
