Vivian Elra Hoar 19382020

Vivian Elra Hoar
1938-2020
Vivian Elra Hoar, 82, of Riverside-Albert passed away
peacefully on December 18th, 2020 at the Moncton Hospital with her
loving family by her side.
Vivian was born in West River on January 16, 1938 the
daughter of the late Judson and Hazel (Wilson)
Lyman.
Vivian was a very hard worker and worked many jobs over the
years. She worked at the Simms Brush factory, Fundy Park
Chalets and also at Kelly’s Bake Shop. She enjoyed
gardening, painting, knitting, quilting, cooking and cake
decorating. She didn’t believe in standing still that’s for
sure. Vivian attended many craft sales and enjoyed not only
selling her crafts but being able to be with people and made many
friends. She attended the United Church and was always
helping out in any way she could. Vivian’s most valuable
times were with her family, she cherished them all and loved being
with them. She met her husband, George at a young age and
they have been married for 62 years, they were true
soulmates. She raised her family with love and they all knew
if they needed anything all they had to do was ask. She felt
blessed to have their support when her illness came and she was
grateful for all the care she received from her family and also by the
staff at Forest Dale Home. Vivian was a very strong lady
whose legacy of love and determination will live on in the
hearts of all who knew her. She is now at peace and
walking the streets of gold with her
Saviour.
“A Mother’s and Grandmother’s hug lasts long after she
lets go.”
She will be deeply missed by her loving husband and best
friend, George Hoar; her children Sheldon Hoar (Janet), Valerie
Woodworth (Andrew) all of Hopewell Hill; her
treasured grandchildren, Leslie (Casey), Dennis, Stephen
(Alisha), Jonathan (Jossie) and Timothy (Jay); her precious great
grandchildren, Easton and Jackson; sister, Glenda Wright and
brothers-in-law, Sterling Hoar (Velma) and Merrill Stevens.
She will also be missed by several nieces and nephews and many
friends.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by sisters, Maxine
Bennett (Richard) and Sylvia Stevens.
Due to COVID-19 a Private Family Service will be held at
the Albert County Funeral. Interment will be at the Hopewell Cemetery,
Hopewell Hill, NB
For those who wish, donations to the Hopewell Cemetery or
