February 05, 1934 – July 15, 2020

Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family on July 15, 2020. Violet Joan Moore (nee Martret) was born February 5, 1934 and was predeceased by her husband John Moore “Jack”; her parents, Gus and Mary Martret; brothers, Joseph (Mary) Martret and Gus (Marie) Martret; sisters, Esther (Frank McCue), Shirley (Pat Clancy) and Florence (Jim Smith); brothers-in-law Patrick Moore “Pork” and Gerald Moore “Ted” Alf (Shirley) Moore as well as her sister-in-law, Mary (Lionel White).
Violet leaves to mourn with fond loving memories, her son, Todd; daughter, Jackie; grandsons, Kadin and Harley (April Snow-Searle); great-grandchildren, Denika and CJ; her sister, Mary Squires; brothers-in-law, Harold Moore (Nellie) and Danny Moore (Carol) and her sisters-in-law, Barb Moore and Joan Moore.
She also leaves to mourn, special nieces; her travel bestie, Genie Howlett (Regina), Michelle O’Connell and Esther Dinn; several nieces and nephews; great, and great-great-nieces and nephews, who all lovingly called her Aunti Vi. Special card buddies, Tootsie Finn, Bonnie O’Neill, Eileen Mootrey, Isabell Finn, Betty Dinn and all her buddies at the Daffodil Club. Special thank you to New Beginnings for the loving care provided by Kevannah and Amber.
Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Friday from 2-6pm. Funeral Service will take place at 9:30am on Saturday, July 18, 2020 from Caul’s Chapel with interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
