IT IS WITH HEART FELT SADNESS TO ANNOUNCE THE PASSING OF VIOLA KATHALEEN CREELMAN ON SEPTEMBER 28TH, 2020 AT THE AGE OF 98. SHE WAS THE DAUGHTER OF ANGUS MACGILLIVRAY CREELMAN AND HILDA FLORENCE FIRTH. DURING HER LIFETIME SHE WORKED AS A BOOKEEPER AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS AND HER MOST RECENT WAS WITH THE TORONTO LADIES CLUB AS THEIR IN HOUSE MANAGER AND BOOKEEPER AND WAS GIVEN AN HONARY LIFETIME MEMBERSHIP TO THE CLUB. SHE ALSO DID NURSING BOTH IN HALIFAX AND OTTAWA. SHE LEARNED TO KNIT ON STICKS AT AN EARLY AGE AND MADE HATS AND MITTS FOR FAMILY AND THE LESS FORTUNATE. SHE ALSO WAS AN ARTIST AND PAINTED MANY A PICTURE AND ALSO SHE PLAYED PIANO AND SANG. HER SIGNATURE SONG I WOULD SAY WAS ” THE LORDS PRAYER”. SHE WOULD ALWAYS USE THE PHRASE ” NEVER SAY YOU CAN’T, ALWAYS SAY YOU WILL TRY” AND SHE WAS TRUE TO THIS THROUGHOUT HER LIFETIME. SHE WAS PREDECEASED BY HER HUSBAND OSCAR REYNOLDS NICKERSON AND SIBLINGS ROY, GERALD, DOROTHY, BERNICE AND EARL. SHE LEAVES BEHIND HER DAUGHTER JUDY KLUSSMANN, SON TIMOTHY (DONNA) KENNETH (PHYLLIS), SON LAURENCE RESIDING IN BRITISH COLUMBIA,, SISTER MARGARET, BROTHER CONNIE, COUSIN BERNARD FIRTH, PAULETTE AND RENE NORMANDIN, GRANDCHILDREN, GREAT GRANDCHILDREN, MANY NIECES AND NEPHEWS. SHE HAS BEEN CREMATED UNDER THE CARE OF RONALD A. WALKER FUNERAL HOME IN TANTALLON, N.S. AND CONDOLENCES CAN BE SENT TO THEIR WEBSITE. A CELEBRATION OF LIFE WILL BE FORTH COMING.
