Vince Veinotte 1935 2020

Obituary of Vince Veinotte
It is with great sadness that the family of Vincent LeRoy Veinotte announce his peaceful passing on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at Rocmaura Nursing Home. Born on March 10, 1935 in Berwick, Nova Scotia, he was a son of the late Moyle and Eva (Eisnor) Veinotte.
Vince retired from the Canadian Red Cross where he held the position of Blood Donor Director for New Brunswick. He enjoyed all sports, especially golf and baseball (he was a diehard Yankee fan). Vince was very social and a loyal friend to many. He was well known for his dry sense of humour. Above all, Vince loved spending time with his family. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Vince will be lovingly remembered by his wife of sixty years, Hilda; sons, Timothy Veinotte (Erin) of Charlottetown, PE and Todd Veinotte of Halifax, NS; daughters, Carla Murphy (Frank Gallant) of Saint John and Mary Beth Veinotte (Alex Gagne) of Greenwood, NS; sister, Sandra Legge (Carl) of Berwick, NS; brother, Lorraine Veinotte of Barry, ON; nephew, Wade Veinotte of NB.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB. A funeral service will take place on Monday, October 26, 2020 at 2:00 PM from Brenan’s Chapel. Guests are asked to enter the funeral home using the courtyard entrance, where staff will greet and assist you with COVID-19 protocol. For those unable to attend, a livestream of the service can be viewed by visiting Brenan’s website and visiting Vince’s obituary. For those who wish, remembrances can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada. www.BrenansFH.com.
