Stevens, George Vincent – 66, Williamsdale, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 13th, 2020 at the QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax. Born at home August 23, 1953 in Millvale, he was a son of Gordon and Helen (Canning) Stevens. He was predeceased by his parents and a sister, Shirley, in infancy. Left to mourn are his wife of 46 years, Pat; three sons, Darius (Hannah); Davis (Lyn) and Darnell; five grandchildren, Kyston, Landen, Emersyn, Dakota and Kinsley; one sister, Linda (Reg) Hardie; two brothers, Jack (Lynda) and Carl (Sharon). A man of many talents, he enjoyed his life, and did what he wanted to do. If so desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. Cremation has taken place there will be no funeral, as per his request. Arrangements are entrusted to MacDiarmid’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Oxford.
