Passed away tragically on July 3, 2020, while adventuring in the company of close friends. Vimy was the only son of Justin Stuart Grant and Eilis Marie Grant, caring brother, adored grandson, beloved cousin and nephew and godson. Vimy will be dearly missed by family and friends and his dog Chesil. Vimy was born on February 21, 2006 in Dorchester, England. He was passionate about hockey, friends, family and living life to the fullest. With deep sadness, Vimy will be remembered for his warm smile, intelligence, athleticism and for caring for others. A visitation will be held at the Westboro Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 403 Richmond Road on Saturday July 18, beginning at 1:00 pm.
Pursuant to maximum attendance regulations, please call the funeral home at 613-722-6559 to pre-register your visit. Entry will be strictly limited to registered visitors at their confirmed time-frame only. All attendees are required to wear a mask.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 19th at Our Lady of the Visitation on Bank Street at 1:00pm. Due to COVID-19 the funeral service will be limited and by invitation only. All attendees are required to wear a mask.
Any donations may be sent to Canadian Tire Jumpstart, Coast to Coast Against Cancer Foundation and Cystic Fibrosis Canada.
