Obituary of Victoria Elizabeth Martyn
Martyn, Victoria Elizabeth, – 75, of Annapolis Royal, passed away peacefully with family and friends by her side, March 22, 2020, in the Annapolis Community Health Centre. Born in Annapolis Royal, May 24, 1944, she was the only daughter of the late Charles and Marion (Purdy) Woodland.
In Vikki’s younger years while living in Ontario, she worked in a factory. Upon her return home, she became the care giver for the members of her family. She loved family gatherings and cooking large meals for special occasions, and her home was always open to her family and friends. She worked at and was a member of the Clementsport Legion #122 for many years. In her spare time, Vikki could be found painting, knitting or crocheting. She had a great love for her painting and all things that sparkled. She also loved singing and dancing and always has a story or joke to tell. Vikki’s special love was her cats and dogs, Teddy being the last one to receive her love.

Besides her parents she was predeceased her husband, Wayne; brothers, Stanley, Richard, Ronald and Donald. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal. Due to the recent COVID -19 outbreak restriction, Vikki’s celebration of life will be held at a later date, at the Clementsport Legion Branch # 122. Burial will take place following the service in the Old St. Edward’s Cemetery, Clementsport. The family wishes to send special thanks to the VON and the staff of the Annapolis Community Health Centre for their care and compassion.
