Victor Bourgeois 2020

BOURGEOIS, Victor
June 20, 1934 – September 8, 2020.
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Victor Ernest Bourgeois. Loving and loyal husband of 58 years to Margaret. Proud father to his two sons: Andrew (Candace) and Marc (Andrea). Grandfather & Grampa B to: Jeffrey and Miranda (and their mother Carole); Brady, Brock, and Ashley (and their mother Terri Lynn); and Natalie. The only son amongst 9 sisters: Liliane Rochon (Dan – both predeceased), Stella Racicot (Frank – both predeceased), Agnes Dupuis (Lucien – predeceased), Jeanne Dupuis (Charles), Aline Lalonde, Lou Ross (Paul), Margo Larocque (Frank – predeceased), Lorraine Treitz (Richard), and Marielle Arseneault (Paul). Dear brother-in law to Allan (Georgina). Uncle Vic to over 50 nieces and nephews. And dear friend to many. Victor loved picking blueberries for hours on end no matter how hot it was outside, and he was extremely generous with everyone. He was especially proud of the volunteer service he provided to the Valley East Good Neighbour Food Bank in Hanmer. It is Victor’s wishes that there be no funeral or wake, but he would greatly appreciate food or cash donations be made in his memory to the Hanmer Food Bank. Victor had an unwavering faith in God and a tremendous sense of humour – no joke was too corny not to be told again and again and again. Heaven has a new angel who will tell jokes to anyone who will listen! www.cooperativefuneralhome.ca
