Veronica Stella Mitroff Friday May 1st 2020

Veronica Mitroff
Surrounded by the love of family & friends in the comfort of her home, Veronica (Roni) Mitroff, 75, passed peacefully away on May 1st, 2020. Daughter of Caroline and James Mitroff (predeceased), sister to Daniel (Fran) both predeceased, Carolyn (Frank Bennett), Stephanie (Tom Acheson, predeceased), Joanne (Hood Smith), Kathryn (Jeff Barker), Laurie (John McCormack) and John (Helen Mulc). Loving Aunt to many nephews & nieces.
Although Veronica never had children of her own, she prided herself in helping to raise and nurture the lives of hundreds through her 36-year career as a teacher within the Roman Catholic School Board.
Respecting Veronica’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral. A private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
The family would like to thank the team from the North East Local Health Integration Network, especially Linda and Stacey. Thank you also to Dr. Rose Michael. You were why we were able to honor and respect Veronica’s wishes; your compassion and support will always be remembered.
In Veronica’s memory, donations may be sent to the Sudbury hospice center: maisonsudburyhospice.org/donate/
